"We had a relaxing stay in the Freda room. It’s beautifully decorated in a manner that’s very aligned with the historic homestead. I loved that the Freda room is apart from the other rooms. It was quiet and we had a wonderful sleep in the comfortable bed. The pool area is private and well maintained. The house is situated right across from some excellent dining options in the Main Street. We will definitely be returning for another stay."

"I loved the food, and the staff were absolutely first class. the rooms are a bit dated but nothing a bit of a revamp couldn't fix. the lack of parking onsite was a bother as I couldn't keep an eye on my tools luckily nothing happened to them but having it in the back of my mind wasn't great. they have obviously been spending money to bring it back up and would love to see the end result when they finish upgrading "
