As a visitor to Morwell attending a two day seminar at the Latrobe Regional Gallery my first priority was to find a place to stay within walking distance to the Gallery. Being elderly and slightly handicapped a walk-in shower and ground floor room essential. My hosts were extremely helpful and generous. Upon arrival I was met and informed I had been upgraded and given a ground floor room away from the main road. My host escorted me to the room and ensured that everything was operating...

I have throughout 2016 stayed in most motels in Morwell and without doubt this is the best. Friendly welcome on arrival and shown to room, heater was on which was lovely arriving late afternoon on a cold day. The rooms have been extensively renovated to a high standard including double glazed windows and are very quiet. The king size bed was very comfortable and the included self serve breakfast was well stocked and great. The bathroom had a seperate shower with a fantastic rain shower head,...

A very pleasant stay at a modern well serviced motel. The welcoming drinks for our anniversary were really appreciated as was the cleanliness and overall comfort of the room itself.

Very clean room & decently sized with full ensuite & kitchenette. Great air conditioning, comfortable beds, small outdoor area & common pool. Very friendly & helpful staff. Close to shops & restaurants

Loved the style, layout, cleanliness and all the available facilities. Only small negative was position of TV perched up high on cupboard which was hard on the neck. On wall over table would be a better position. But not a great problem as nothing much on tele anyway these days.

I stay at quite a few hotels and motels throughout eastern Australia. Some of them are big names and I believe they are dropping the ball cleanliness of rooms and delivery of services. In the past month I have stayed at three small privately owned motels and I have been delighted at what I saw and experienced. This is one of them.
At first glance the Wilsons Promontory Motel appears to be another budget motel but I stayed there for three nights and got to see how the owners and staff take...

I loved the many plants around the property and that the garden was being very well looked after. They take pride in their property. They were very friendly people and Winston (the gorgeous border collie) finally took to me after a shaky start. The motel is set off the road and very quiet. Mal the owner is very pleasant and obviously enjoys running his motel. Thanks for restful few days.

They were very flexible on check-in time and very helpful. The room was lovely and clean, the beds were comfortable & pillows too.
The pool was not open for a swim (September) at this time of year which was disappointing. But we were told this when we were booking. It would have been great to use the pool. But apart from that everything was wonderful
