"Love The Artist Loft. The location is perfect. It’s an easy walk to all Blowing Rock has to offer. The loft is so pretty but it’s comfortable. The kitchen is big and has everything you need. The bedrooms are well done with nice linens. And the bathrooms have plenty of towels. I’ve stayed several times and it’s always a pleasure to work with Susan and Gaines Kiker."

"Our family of four met some friends of ours, another family of four, at Appalachian Ski Mountain for a ski weekend. The house was REALLY spacious and allowed enough room for kids and adults to all spread out. The kitchen is massive and has all items you could possibly need to prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The location is only a few minutes from the ski resort which was great for making those early lift times. Overall we really enjoyed the home and can’t wait to go back to Boone and App...

"Our family had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Blowing Rock. We were in the area for a music festival and were so happy to retreat to The Blake after a long day of music. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. We loved being right on Main Street with easy access to amazing restaurants, the playground for our kids and ice cream every night. We are already planning a return trip!"

"You absolutely can’t go wrong staying at the Penthouse! What a fabulous location! Walk out the door and you’re on the sidewalk in the middle of everything!! We parked at the parking garage which is a short walk from the Penthouse. The Penthouse was clean and inviting. If you have issues with climbing stairs (28 of them) then it might not be ideal for some, but it was no bother for us. I would definitely stay again!"

"We do a mom and daughter trip every April and this year we chose Blowing Rock! The home was the perfect house for us ~ spacious, comfortable, close to everything!!! Kitchen is well equipped! Loved all of the extra pillows and blankets around the house ~ made it so cozy! We enjoyed sitting on the deck in our pajamas every morning planning out our days! The stream along the back was wonderful! The hosts are quick to respond and full of kindness!!! Fantastic stay! Plan to book the same...

"We loved the location of this cabin. It was close to Boone and Blowing Rock and the Parkway. The house was relatively new and very comfortable. It was very clean! The kitchen was not very well stocked with glasses, cooking implements, etc., and some of what was there was very old (like coffee maker). But on the whole a lovely place."

My parents in their 60's complimented the details and comfortable bedding, My spouse and I loved how spread out the space was, My teenager loved the downstairs retreat, my 10 year old loved ping pong and eating outside on the large covered porch, and our dog loved the pond and creek on the property. "This place was incredible. It is exactly where you want to be in Blowing Rock with restaurants, bars, and shops all around you. The restaurant downstairs is very nice and you don't hear noise from there at all. The furnishings are all very nice and upscale. Some of the nicest amenities I've had at a rental. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place for friends and family trips."

"Great location and property. The grounds are amazing and the house offers all that you need and more. Only one suggestion. The steps to the back yard from the driveway need to be filled in and not have deep pocket throughout walkway. Also the back steps out of the basement have algae build up and could use a good cleaning. We had two people slip and one fell. We are all ok and did not take away from our stay. "Tweetsie House was ideal for our two set of grandparents, two adult child and partners, and a 2-year old! Three levels provided privacy and the open living room and kitchen gave us all time to relax together. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans and utensils; the beds had nice linens and were very comfortable; and the large deck and grill had a fabulous view. Blowing Rock and Boone are both just a 15-ish minute drive - and Tweetsie Railroad just eight-ish minutes!! We were lucky...

"A couple of days of our stay were cold and rainy so it was a huge plus to have the heated indoor pool, sauna and hot tub to enjoy. Also the work out area was very nice as well. There were many updates in the condo. And so nice to have the gas logs. The mattress on both beds were memory foam and very comfortable. All in all a very nice place!!"
