The Space:

***Great Holiday Spot - Road Access - No Storm Damage.  The Town of Blowing Rock is Open and Thriving!***



You will love staying at beautiful Sierra #2 at Chetola Resort. This 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo with back deck overlooking one of the resort's many ponds, is the perfect spot to get away from it all in the High Country. The unit is spacious and well appointed.  The living area has a beautiful stone gas log fireplace, comfortable seating, up-to-date decor and a flat screen TV.  Downstairs there is another gas log fireplace and sitting area with his and hers recliners and TV. Off of the living room there is a very small workspace, wide enough for a laptop for doing homework or answering email (this is not a full size desk).



The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, with a drip coffee maker, dishes and utensils, cookware, and glassware.  Appliances include a dishwasher, microwave, range, oven, and refrigerator.  The dining room table easily seats six.



The main level master bedroom has a king four poster bed with substantial armoir television stand and drawers, closet and ensuite bath.  The ensuite bath has Jack and Jill sinks and a step in shower and Jacuzzi tub. The second main level bedroom has two twin beds and TV with cable box.  Downstairs, there is a third bedroom with Queen bed, and bathroom with combination tub/shower.



A welcoming base for all your High Country adventures! These owners are members of the resort, so their privileges extend to their guests. The resort amenities are as follows: The indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness equipment (classes for a fee), tennis courts, pickleball courts, disc golf course, hiking trails, fishing in our lake, and paddle boats May 1st through October 16th. Timberlake Restaurant and the adjoining cozy neighborhood bar are also nearby as well as the resort Spa. Does not include the new Sportsman's Reserve.  Call the resort for more information about access to, availability of, and cost of using the amentities.



The resort is minutes from Bass Lake, the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking, fishing and all the activites that the High Country has to offer.

Nice stay

We really enjoyed our time at this property. The condo is huge and gave us great space to relax and enjoy. The ping pong table in the basement was a nice plus.The condo was clean. The furnishings and carpet were a little dated - but we didn't mind that since the overall comfort and cleanliness was very good. We would stay there again.

Beautiful condo In excellent location

This condo suited our group of 6 ladies perfectly. The kitchen was large enough to cook, the dining room great to serve and upper and lower floors perfect for those who go to bed earlier vs those who like to stay up late. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and condo well appointed. The Chetola grounds are beautiful and so close to Main Street in Blowing Rock.

Location of property was not within walking distance to blowing rock… This was not as described.Pool was nice.Condo was not appropriately cleaned… Dirty dishes, and dishwasher, towels, and dryer, food and items left in downstairs bedroom.

A beautiful place with an awesome view!!

We stayed at Sierras 2 for a long four day weekend with our kids and were sad to leave! Check-in was easy, it had everything we needed, and the Chetola/Blowing Rock area has so much to offer. My son loved the ability to get up and fish in the ponds directly behind the unit and the ping pong table was a hit. I hope we can visit again soon! It’s a very quick trip to downtown Blowing Rock, even walkable, and the restaurants, shops were great.

Beautiful property and location

Sierra #2 was a beautiful property, we visited after the hurricane had devasted the surrounding areas, luckily Blowing Rock was largely untouched so all businesses etc were open in the town when we visited. The only issue we had at the property was that the wifi was down and it was not resolved until a few hours before the end of our stay. This was slightly problematic as my daughter needed to work a little over the weekend we were there but overall we really enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

Amazing Spot
