With our family of 5 and 3 young kids, we could walk to everywhere in town (brewery, restaurants, coffee, shopping, playground, ice cream), plus we could run or walk to/around Bass Lake. It was a 5-30 minute drive to everything we wanted to see in the area. On top of it, the house was a perfect place to wind down between the backyard, bubbling brook, game room, and eating meals. "This is a spacious, comfortable cabin conveniently located between Blowing Rock & Boone. We appreciated the nice kitchen, the views out back into the woods, and the fact that there are plenty of lights so you can sit anywhere and have enough light to read by. We ended up spending more time indoors the we had planned due to rain, so it was especially nice to have the extra space."

"You absolutely can’t go wrong staying at the Penthouse! What a fabulous location! Walk out the door and you’re on the sidewalk in the middle of everything!! We parked at the parking garage which is a short walk from the Penthouse. The Penthouse was clean and inviting. If you have issues with climbing stairs (28 of them) then it might not be ideal for some, but it was no bother for us. I would definitely stay again!"

"Property has a great location. We had a little issue with the wifi and the Blu-ray player. New wifi code that hadn't gotten updated in the check in info which was quickly resolved, and the remote for the Blu-ray didn't seem to work wasn't worth calling the property manager over. But ultimately very minor issues on a pleasant and serviceable rental property. If I could recommend anything to the owners it would be to get new silverware and knives."
