Great Location and House

Our quick two nights in Blowing Rock was especially wonderful because of this comfy and thoughtfully appointed home. We'd definitely stay again! The whole family enjoyed it. Loved that we could walk .5 miles to the outlets or downtown Blowing Rock.

Lovely house in ideal location!

We had a great stay! There were 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 5-13) and we had plenty of space. The house was immaculate and the proximity to downtown Blowing Rock was perfect. We walked to breakfast & dinner and all the lovely shops. Highly recommend and we hope to return!

This property is a beautiful house very near downtown Blowing Rock! It’s tastefully decorated, well stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds. Cleanliness was a 5+ and property owners were very responsive. I would most definitely stay at this home again!

Wonderful home away from home

This property is terrific. A beautifully decorated and comfortable home with all the amenities you could want. Great location for walking around Blowing Rock. Cozy living room, sizeable bedrooms, modern baths and great kitchen with everything you could want to cook or just snack. Definitely will stay here again. Will be lovely in the spring.

This house is so beautiful and the location can't be beat. We spent 3 days here with friends and had the best time. This house had it all! Location is excellent just steps away from resturants and shopping, a stream in the backyard with ducks (So peaceful listening to the water), firepit, Dart board, horse shoes, etc. Already looking to booked this house again! Best house we have stayed in yet!

What a gem! Perfectly sized cottage walking distance from downtown Blowing Rock. Walked to dinner and breakfast as well as all the cute shops. Only an 8-10 minute drive to App Ski Mountain so it was perfect for coming back home mid day for a rest or lunch. All of the beds were comfortable, even the pullout, and everything was so thoughtfully decorated and put together. Perfect space for our family of 5 plus one. All teenagers and adults. The creek provided some entertainment with wildlife. Thought privacy was going to be an issue but it absolutely wasn’t. We loved the outdoor space but never got to use it. Firepit looked awesome. Everyone’s favorite part was the basement with the dartboard and donkey Kong. My favorite part was the cutest coffee bar. Would 1000% stay here again.

Great house in convenient location -

The house was great and exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and nicely appointed throughout, having everything you will need for an enjoyable/extended stay. The location is excellent, being a short walk to all of the restaurants, shops, and other amenities that Blowing Rock has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and this house will now be the first place we look to book when we travel back to the Blowing Rock. Definitely recommend!

The layout of the home was perfect for our family. Everything was spotless which I really appreciated! Having a little stool handy was awesome for our 4-year old. The closeness to the center of town was amazing, and we did a great waterfall hike which began only a minute or so down the road. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect rental for our family of four. The house has been recently renovated and it is beautiful. We especially loved the location being a very short walk from downtown Blowing Rock and it’s only an 8 minute drive to Appalachian Ski Mountain. Communication with the owners was also exceptional. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

The PERFECT Blowing Rock rental!

We were in town to participate in the Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show and we could not have found a better rental. The home is stunning - newly renovated and stocked with anything you could imagine needing. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable rooms and common areas, and the porch was perfect for spending time together and enjoying the river in the back. We hope to use this same home again next year!

Great location near downtown

We had a small group of friends for a birthday weekend. The home has been updated and is super cute. Its walkable to downtown and restaurants. The home is on the road into Blowing Rock but it's quiet due to speed limit. Communication with the Howes was easy and fast. Highly recommend this home for your next Blowing Rock adventure!

Wonderful Time in Blowing Rock

We stayed for 6 nights in this wonderful house. It was exactly as pictured. Very up to date, well furnished and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the outside area with the stream and fire pit. The convenience of being able to easily walk downtown made it so everyone could do what they wanted without a car. I would highly recommend this home.
