"The view is absolutely breathtaking—second to none! The house is warm, well-heated, and stocked with an impressive stash of board games and DVDs to enjoy by the cosy fireplace (wood supplied—no scavenging required!). The kitchen had everything we needed, and with three bathrooms, no one had to do the bathroom dance. Our adult kids and the dogs had a ball. With a beautiful station nearby, Sydney’s just a train ride away, and Blackheath and Katoomba have more than enough to tempt anyone in need of food, coffee, or a bit of retail therapy. We would definitely consider coming back."

"I feel lucky to have found this hotel. Check in was a breeze with a code - perfect as I arrived very late after a long drive. Parking was right out front and it’s a very well laid out hotel, all rooms I saw were ground floor so perfect for anyone with mobility issues or just tired from a long day and lugging bags inside. The room was clean and warm. The best find for me was the restaurant - cosy and warm, a wide menu, friendly and efficient staff .. a real pleasure with the gas fire place and large windows. "
