"Easy check in, walkable distance to everywhere, clean environment "

"We had to wait about 30 minutes to check in because there was only a note left on the door — no time listed and no phone number to call just in case. There were only two nearby restaurant options. One was extremely noisy and felt more like a bar, while the other around the corner closed at 2:00 PM and reopened at 5:30 PM. On Sundays it closed at 9:00 PM, and Mondays it was closed altogether. There’s also a pizza place on the same block with good food, plus a deli with no listed prices, which made ordering feel like playing the lottery. Other than that, the room was clean, and the location was okay with access to a couple of buses that made it easy to get around the city."

"Staff was great. Location was great. But, I could hear other guests walking around late at night (woke me up). The room needed a deep clean and they should start by cleaning the walls in the shower (those were beyond description gross.)"

"The air conditioning did not work. The front desk said someone would fix it. I came back in the evening and it was never fixed. The room is clean. The bathrooms are motel-esque. And the rooms are small. The water refill station was questionable. The water had a very poor taste and the system is inefficient. However, I’d say for the price and safe location, I would stay here again."

"Overall the hotel was great. The staff are amazing and helpful. The breakfast is a buffet and has a variety of options. Pool is nice as well but too cold during this time. The rooms were clean tidy and decently spacious. Only issue is the wifi isn’t the greatest and at times slow."

"Our stay was extremely frustrating from the moment we arrived. There were far too many stairs and level changes to navigate in order to reach the room, and very little assistance was offered to my wife and me. We were told to “take the elevator, and it’s only a few steps to your room,” but that was completely inaccurate. In reality, we had to navigate what felt like five different flights of stairs — going down and back up multiple staircases — all while carrying two large suitcases. To make matters worse, the room keys did not work on three separate occasions, forcing us to repeatedly make the long trip back down to the lobby to have them reprogrammed. The entire experience was exhausting, inconvenient, and far below expectations."

"Room was not clean whatsoever, there were brown curly hairs high up on the restroom ceiling, the floor of and the bathtub was brown. I also found little bits of black stuff on my bed, maybe that was just from the washer machines though it was like black soft pieces of cotton. One rude staff and the rest were great. Bring water as they don’t offer free water bottles which is a bit weird, elevator is very sketchy and closes very fast so watch out. "

"1) Was told at check-in our room/unit had been changed, changed to a less desirable room/unit. Full occupancy so nothing could be done about it. We were never informed about the change. No adjustment offered by management. Made our reservation months ago. Were we moved so our room/unit could be rented at a higher price? 2) TV reception horrible, picture unwatchable. TV old and on cable, all analog. 3) No sheers on windows. By opening drapes to let in light there is no privacy as many units face each other. Made the room dark, but we kept drapes closed. 4) Fewer garages than units, we were fortunate to have use of a garage, otherwise we would have had to park on a neighborhood street. Security and convenience of the garage was a big deal. 5) Has to be the noisest toilet when flushed. Also, would prefer to have a small shelf around the bathroom sink. 6) Charming courtyard with driveway pavers, beautiful flowers and exterior building design. 7) Dated but very nice clean, comfortable rooms/units 8) Excellent location. 9) Overall, a good place to stay. Hopefully their changing room without notification is not their usual way of doing business."

"In an attempt to make the hotel more popular, it seems the owners re-designed the exterior, the attached shops (Zephyr Walk) and the lobby to make it cool and modern, without maintaining the rooms at all. There is a surprise resort fee, which apparently can range from $30 a night to $45 a night - to cover “amenities”. I’ve stayed at, at least a half dozen other hotels that don’t charge $35 a night per room to light a couple fire pits. Just work it into the room price and stop surprising people. As soon as we checked in, we grabbed our bags and headed to our room, only to immediately get kicked out by housekeeping. They were in our room and just kept saying “just a minute” while we stood in the hallway with our luggage. Considering the hotel also does not allow you to use the bathroom in the lobby until you check in, and we had just driven for 3 hours, we were very uncomfortable. There were strange outlets cut into the side of the nightstand that didn’t seem safe. "
