"Location was great to chillout and spend the night; only negative was a couple of selfish bimbos in cabin 2 or 3 playing load music till after midnight ... obviously too stupid to realise tents have thin walls and didn't give a crap about the others around them. As there are no staff on site and nobody to call, we had to grin and bear it..."

"Our four night stay at Blackwood Valley Suites was perfect. We received a lovely welcome with treats which was so kind. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. "Our host Julie was very helpful with providing directions into the farm and warm & friendly to deal with. We found it quite straightforward to find and it’s a simple 10 mins or so from the town. The 5 stars is for the location. The fantastic river views, rolling hills and bird life was a refreshing return to nature all enjoyable from the generous sized deck. It would be hard to beat this view for the price. Kayaking on a river all to ourselves was awesome as you can enjoy more bird life along the banks. It’s just quiet and peaceful and you might need to be a ‘no frills’ type to ignore the nature within the house. We will definitely be coming back. "
