"Apartment was very clean an has everything you need for a stay in Barga Loved being in the middle of the old town -close to local restaurants and just below the Duomo. Took a while to work out the Italian plug system but that is all part of living in an older property. The mattresses were a bit hard and the kitchen sink had no cold water but otherwise we loved the apartment"

"The good. Fabio and his wife Paola are kind and pleasant owners. They met us to guide us to the property because you can’t drive to it and you will never find it without help. The reality. The apartment is beautiful but the heating system is inadequate. Fabio the owner wanted to charge me 30€ additional a night for heating that did not work. I said this was unacceptable and he should include these hidden charges in the overall price. He did send technicians to work on the boiler/system but it...

"Check In war okay. Schlüssel befand sich wie mitgeteilt am Ort. Alles in allem war es dort schön. Schöner Pool. Kids hatten Freude. Küche bräuchte dringend eine Grundreinigung. Abzugshaube eklig. Gegend sehr abgelegen und ziemlich weit weg zur Hauptstraße. Info über die Mülltrennung wäre noch gut gewesen. Müll von Vorgänger war bis zur unserer Abreise nicht abgeholt worden. "

"Whats a fantastic Vaction. Our host was exceptionally welcoming & made us feel instantly at home. The accommodation is better than the pictures. Fantastic location, 8mins drive to fantastic pizzeria, 15min to large supermarket, the list is endless. The views are breathtaking, we must have 1000 pictures. We will definitely be rebooking next year. "

"Owner Enrico has been really helpfull and friendly. The Villa is on 4 levels (one for the pool, 3 for the building floors) which gives you more privacy but also makes it harder to stay together if that's what your group wants. 1 restroom for each room is a luxury. However, they they would need some renovations, as wel as the kitchen.Great common areas such as outside patio, inner dining room and big sofa areas. Beautiful landscape. Overall very good if you are looking for a rustic retreat in the countryside"

"Where to begin!? The photos in the listing simply do not do this property justice. It is a truly magical location and I highly recommend it. We rented the entire place, for 20 people, to celebrate a birthday and each family, couple or single had their own private space/apartment, while still being part of the whole. It's charming and had all the amenities. There are several nearby villages to grab dinner or groceries, and Lucca is only an hour away. It's a bit of a hike to the marble quarries, or Cinque Terre but we did it. You must have a car or driver though, it's too remote to get to and from easily. The owners were delightful. We ended up booking breakfast everyday, as well as a pizza night and a final goodbye dinner with their chef. Everything was fantastic!! Make sure you get an e-sim (their wifi is fine too) before you arrive and load up google translate, as the owners only speak Italian. We will cherish our memories of our stay for years to come. "

"Lovely old mountain house with great pizza oven and stone built BBQ. The gardens are great and the pool was amazing. THAT VIEW!! you feel like you are swimming in the mountains. We even saw fire flies at night. "
