"We had the absolute best time at Sebastian Island View Cottages and only wish we could have stayed longer! Our large extended family booked two of the cottages, which was the perfect setup—it kept us close enough to hang out easily, while still giving everyone their own private space to unwind. The wildlife here is spectacular. We took the kayaks out on the river and saw so much: manatees, porpoises, a baby stingray, tons of jumping fish, and even a pod of dolphins! "Everything was beautiful once we got into our room.However, we started off on a bad foot when the room was not ready at 4 o'clock. There was a delay in the cleaning process , and we had to sit in the lobby waiting after driving and being at a celebration of life for the afternoon. We had gotten there and we're so excited to check in and then it was a bummer to have to sit there and wait."

"Outstanding service. The staff was kind and helpful throughout our week’s stay. The pool is lovely and warm. The adjacent bar and restaurant are casual with tasty food and a great drinks. There is also a kids menu, giving the littles a meal and drink for just $13. Heading to the ocean is perfection. A few steps down and there is staff waiting to set up your chairs. Food and drink service is available there, as well. Happy hour is in the lobby. And the front desk is incredibly responsive through their texting system throughout your stay. We’re already planning to return. It was a wonderful stay."

"We have never stayed at Capt Hirams before but always wanted to and it did not disappoint. The staff was helpful. The location can't be beat. The proximity to water, restaurants (multiple up and down the river) was perfect. I stayed over 4th of July with my teen son and it was a great family friendly option. The pool is small but very clean. Our room hadn't been vacuumed or our side tables cleaned when we arrived but the staff took care of it right away the next morning. Be aware, if you are flying in late, let them know or they do close out your reservation as a no show. We called and the staff explained and were extremely helpful throughout our stay. I will be staying here again!"
