The property comprises 2 blocks, we were assigned a room in the adjoining block which we rejected because it was musty and had black mold on the door, the 2nd room in the same block wasn’t clean. Neither room was anything like the photos on line. We then had a room in the main block that was acceptable. Also, the car park is over a busy road so make sure you drop your bags off before parking. Sadly the hotel did not meet the standards I would expect of a Crowne Plaza.

Came for a quick weekend getaway with my mom, who is in a wheelchair and some friends. Booked an ADA mobility accessible room for 5. Arrived at the hotel and was told no handicapped rooms were available. We had given quite a way to get there so we decided to make do with a 1 bedroom suite which they said would sleep 5. The room had one bed and a pullout sofa. They said no rollaway beds were available. The room was not clean, and located in the far end of the property on a dirty exterior hallway. One of our friends said she couldn’t stay there without a bed and left. There were no linens for the sofa bed. Requested them and got a mattress cover and top sheet. Called again for a fitted sheet and blanket. Seemed to be a problem. Went to the front desk and asked for help. They said no ADA were available, nor would they be for the next night. Asked to cancel the next night. They said it was non-refundable. Contacted IHG. They said they couldn’t help me because I booked through Expedia. Expedia was able to cancel, but I have never been treated so poorly by a hotel. Property was unkempt. The staff was unhelpful. Strongly advise against staying there.

The Crowne Plaza was a great experience. Our room was very clean, spacious and the bedding was comfortable. The food was very good and we loved the tiki hut vibe. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable.

Loud noises at night from other rooms and the bar down below were irritating. Housekeeping didn’t replenish water or coffee products. The front desk didn’t answer their phone, or if they did, they pretended not to hear anything. I had used the phone to call the front desk after a fire alarm, and they could hear me that time. The ocean view was nice though, as was the breakfast. It’s also nice that there is a Starbucks in-house.

The staff was great but the room was terrible. The toilet didn't work when we arrived and instead of giving us a different room they sent engineering to "fix" it. We checked in on Friday afternoon and by Saturday afternoon it was broker again and then the bathroom lights stopped working. The hotel feels rundown and in need of renovation and upkeep. The staff were great!

Note to self... parking is across the street, busy A1A. Not very convenient at all. Trek up the steep stairs to cross over A1A with your luggage or play frogger trying to avoid traffic. OR pay for valet or block traffic while unloading luggage in front of the hotel entrance, then drive across the street to park (pull in the fire department entrance) then cross back over. Also, breakfast is NOT included. Usually you have one or the other... but to not have either, oof. Not impressed. You could hear doors and gates slamming all night long. Room and balcony doors didn't shut properly so make sure to double back to be sure you aren't leaving your room open. No hot tub. Beds were comfy as ever tho. Food was delish at the restaurant attached, expensive: 40+ bucks for 9 wings and a ceaser salad (with no protein). Took forever too. Ordered an NA beer when hanging by the pool, only had one option, tho menu said there were two, and it was warm. But atmosphere, right? As a last minute anniversary weekend away, on a holiday weekend nonetheless, there was a room available and we jumped. If given OPTIONS next time, I'd choose somewhere else.

Great location and lively crowd with some outdoor patio entertainment! And beach is beautiful. The hotel is getting run down a bit, the bathroom and room ceiling had stains, carpet in hall is duct taped lol my previous stay the elevated broke 😝 The bar service was surprisingly below average. And not personal le at all…I sat with an empty glass for quite awhile before I had to flag the bartender down. 👎 Otherwise it was fun!!!
