The staff were generally helpful but one front desk person gave us a weird vibe, as if he wondered why we were even staying there. "We had a wonderful stay at Gran Hotel Barcino! We were traveling with two young kids and arrived very late at night, but the check-in staff made us feel very welcome and were incredibly friendly and speedy. It was such a relief after a long journey. Our room was clean, comfortable, and smelled fresh. The kids especially enjoyed the little museum about the city in the hotel lobby. The location was excellent—right in the heart of Barcelona, making it very convenient for exploring the city with our family. The staff were helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend Gran Hotel Barcino for families traveling with young children!"
