Clean room but shower not great. Difficult to get into (bathtub with tall walls) and shower head is really a hand held shower. Sub-optimal water pressure. But breakfast was large buffet and rooftop view did not disappoint. Hotel is closer to a 3-star by North American standards.

It was a very unique small scale grand hotel in the historic center of Istanbul.
Beautifully maintained and authentic property. The head concierge Omer was delightful and most accommodating. The staff at the desk and the Bell Captain were polite and gracious.
I would recommend their restaurant on the top level.
