Not your first choice
Our stay was short-lived as we transferred over to the Plaza Hotel. Two reasons: our family was there so it was convenient to be closer (although it's less than a km away) but because we did not find our room to be that comforting - the couch had a dried fluid stain on it and the room/hotel could use some renovations.

The staff is very friendly and very helpful! We had a small issue with the room and they took care of us immediately! I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Balanga, it’s close to the city centre, restaurants and cafes, But most of all I was impressed with the service from the staff!

Avoid Like the Plague
“Old” does not begin to describe it. If you told me the Bataan death march began here I’d believe it. Bed -uncomfortable. Water pressure -poor. No hot water in bathroom sink. None (or hot water not working) in shower. Wall AC unit much better at making noise than cooling room. Window curtains do not keep out the light. Light switch caked with dirt. One of the worst hotels of my life.

We should always check what are they put on the room.On our 2nd day of stay luckily i check how many face towel the gave to us cause during our check out they want to charge us coz luck of 2 face towel, so i told them that they only gave us only 1 face towel.

I first stayed here some 15 years ago. Things have changed in the area for sure, but the Hotel is much as I remembered it. We stayed in a Majestic Suite and it was a nice room, so I would recommend it. What didn't impress me is the Compendium in the room, stating rates for transport was not current and did not match the front desk copy. Fortunately the Hotel honoured the room compendium which is just as well, as it was already expensive at Php4500 so we could make a return trip to Mt. Samat. In fairness it is for a minivan serving 1-8 people, but of course for 1 or 2 it is expensive. There is no taxi or Grab service in Balanga City and a tricycle is probably not a good choice for that journey. The Hotel seems popular for weddings and other functions and seems well set up for those events.

This hotel needs a lot of improvement. Cockroaches in the room. Key card not working. Only 1 elevator. Room is so dark and gloomy. And worst is there are karaoke beside the rooms and they are very noisy. Had stomach upset after breakfast. Only good thing is the location.

Other guests had dogs that barked most of the night. We complained several times but they said there was nothing they could do. I guess we were not a very high priority. Fairly nice rooms and lobby, but no hot water, and many stairs. There are better options in the area.

Room Issues
Shower handle was broken, had to use the hand held unit in the tub to shower. I'm 70 years old so difficult to squat in the shower and hold a 2' shower hose over you to bathe. Parking was difficult. Had to tip a security officer to get into a parking place.

Value for money
The hotel was situated in an accessible area, near restaurants and close to the center of the city. We were greeted warmly by the staff despite a very late check-in. Our rooms were situated on the first floor which was an advantage as we have seniors with us. The rooms were clean and had all the basic amenities but looked a bit run down. The free wifi was fast. The breakfast choices were many and the food was great. Overall it was a nice experience as this was our first time to stay in the hotel.

Fast check in and check out. All of the staff were friendly and fast in delivering service from the lobby, to housekeeping service and dining at silver restau. Would recommend to anyone who wishes to have a night at bataan. Hope you would continue the good work. From room 106 :)
