"I gave my trip 3 stars for a few reasons.
To start, when we arrived, we were in a rush to make it to our sailboat excursion and needed our luggage as quickly as possible. We were assured that our bags had already been delivered to the room, but on the way there, I noticed they were still sitting in the lobby. Had we not seen and grabbed them ourselves, we would have been late to our excursion.
Additionally, the room was extremely cold upon arrival — around 65°F. I adjusted the AC before leaving, hoping the temperature would normalize by the time we returned, but the room was just as cold, if not colder. I ended up having to contact my butler to resolve the issue.
I also reached out to the butler to request Gatorade be sent to our room because we were feeling motion sick after the boat excursion. It cost $8 USD, but when we returned to the room, it was not there because it had been delivered to the wrong room.
Lastly, the hair straightener provided in the room was not fully charged and did not have enough battery to finish straightening my hair
I feel that attention to detail is what truly defines a luxury resort, and unfortunately, that level of care felt lacking during my stay.
But I will say, food was great, the spa was fantastic (shout out to Rocio for giving me a fantastic holistic massage), and the report was very beautiful. But I am not sure if I will be back for the reasons mentioned before"
