Liked: Cleanliness
The vacation in Hotel Rio Santa Fe was great time. The staff is friendly and very nice. A lot of fun and music, disco parties, people who really enjoys parties this is the best place to visit.
We loved the pools There were a few that are a bit noisy so you just move onto the next one. We loved the first pool in the main area. Great family area.
It was a very nice and clean place. We never had any issues looking for chairs. Restaurants were first come first serve which we barely waited to be seated. The food is great. Lots of options. Rooms are clean. Service was fantastic. Just you just can’t swim in the beach, but it was still nice to walk around.
The property was exceptional and exceeded expectations. The facilities were top notch and the layout was exceptional as you could quietly spend the day at the pool or wander down to the pools beachside for a more lively experience, and the beach, well let’s just say … ahhhh this is the best! Food was exceptional, like all Roy’s I have stayed at, and the staff here were the best I have experienced anywhere on a mass scale in a large time. All so friendly, accommodating and nice. Top kudos to all the staff at RIU Sante Fe👍👍🍻
Recommended for young people that wanna have a good time and party. Best parties all week.
Also, really good with children down there.
It’s great how everybody was getting along
In my stay, the rooms were very clean but in public areas such as the pools and buffet areas, it was a different experience. First, there were a lot of flies in the buffet and random birds that would be walking or flying around. Also, the pools were clean but felt itchy after taking a dive into it. The drinks, weather and views made it bearable.
We truly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were great, and the property was exceptionally clean and in excellent condition. We also appreciated that it’s possible to stay removed from the party areas and enjoy a more relaxed vacation.
One small note, the room doors could be a bit quieter. Additionally, there’s some room for improvement in the themed restaurants, particularly in terms of food quality and service.

Amazing resort with lots of choices of pools, bars, restaurants, locations to hang out or be active. Staff are incredibly responsive and kinds. Only problem was limited selection of wines or champagne or Prosecco. Great if you like lots of mixed drinks but not so much if wine is your preferred drink.
Great value, awesome for family, clean property and rooms LOVED THE POOLS, drinks all inclusive food!!!! The food choices were great and Delicious quality food. My husband always gets sick in Mexico the first couple of days. First trip to Mexico that he did not get sick!!!!Awesome amenities and activities. Will definitely return
Beautiful property on the beach. Restaurants buffet was great. The sit down restaurant were really average. It was really buffet food serves a different way with not any service experience. The animation was great and there is a decent path around the hotel to
Run or
Walk for exercise without having to leave the resort.
Big red flags I do not not recommend going during March break, the students takes over this property the bars, the restaurants
The building are crazy noisy with drunk young people. Big no no!!!
Entire resort is very clean. Staff is helpful and courteous. Was there for 10 days. Had a room in villa 3, first level, room had way too many mosquitoes and there were lots of dead squished mosquitoes on the walls. Bathroom often had a smell of sewage. Room felt very moist and smell musky. Food was excellent in all restaurants and buffet.
Lack entertainment, needs better shows and bands. Too many repetitious entertainment. Overall I would give it a 3 out of 5.
I would say the food wasn’t very good. The check-in and checkout staff could have been nicer but other than that the other staff were super nice and friendly
