"Hotel is in a nice area, right next to beach. Nice breakfast and staff. But this property is dated and our room (213) was very dark. Try to get a room facing the water."

"Jose was great to work with and very accommodating—I’d gladly work with him again. Unfortunately, the property itself was a different story. The listing stated the house could accommodate six people, which wasn’t accurate. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other has two twin beds, and while there is a pull-out couch in the living room, no sheets or pillows were provided for it. Realistically, this is a four-person property, not six. Cleanliness was also an issue. The house did not feel properly cleaned, and certain areas—like the fireplace—had a noticeable buildup of dirt that looked like it hadn’t been addressed in quite some time."

"Location, location, location... This unit is one of the best in Avila Beach looking at price vs location. My wife and I were traveling with our 10 lb dog. It was a fisherman's cottage in a previous life so the size is small but for the two of us and out little dog it was just perfect. We will definitely be back."

"We had a wonderful day at this Avila Beach apartment! Quiet, clean, comfortable. Had great pots and pans and kitchen utensils. The air conditioner and fans work great. Nice bathroom and shower. The king size bed is really comfortable. Our teenage boys say the sofa bed is not the most comfortable thing, but sofa beds rarely are! We love being able to walk into the town and the sunset views from the deck were lovely! We look forward to returning!"

"Fabulous location with great views. Restaurants, coffee, and drinks are steps away, although I recommend an evening cooking in using the excellent gas grill on the balcony! Would definitely stay here again."
