"After realizing we would need a place to stay longer than 1-2 days, and also needing a pet friendly location, I was able to find Amelia’s Retreat. It was the perfect spot, the home is nice, we had plenty of room, and the backyard was perfect for our little dog. The location was great and conveniently located to shopping and a variety of restaurants. We would love to stay here again on our future trips to the area!"

"The large, very well equipped kitchen, table big enough for 8-10 people, and comfortable great room with huge TV. Comfy bedrooms, ALL with great views of the lake. Great fishing, right from the dock! And very responsive owners. We really enjoyed our stay. Warning: the driveway down to the house is steep and there are 56 steps down to the water. But that adds to the fun!"

"We took our niece, nephews and grandson away for a mini vacation and to celebrate my husband’s 62nd birthday. I highly recommend this beautiful home to stay in. Very quiet, clean and easy access to the lake, basketball courts and pool area. Unfortunately it was the wrong time of the year so the pool wasn’t open but it overlooks the lake and mountains surround you. Kids had a blast."

"The house was extremely clean and had the right kitchen needs. A bit of smoke and mirrors. The cool bricks on the walls are wallpaper. Only 2 thin pillows on each bed. Need more comfy pieces like a warm blanket or clean pillows on sofa. Bed linens were thin and cheap. Not enough hangers or garbage bags. The table and chairs in dining nook were extremely flimsy. "Very Clean and spacious. The decor made for a great conversation piece. The neighborhood is older and appeared to be a little questionable based on the upkeep of the neighbor's homes. However it was very quiet. We would definitely stay again."

"Unfortunatly i was only able to stay a few days since i was up for work but it was very plesent. The room was very clean and had a homey feel to it. The managers were very sweet, she even helped me fix the dates i had booked and worked with me to get everything perfect. If i have to come back up again for work i know where ill stay"
