"The re-model is very nice. Rooms are a little dark but that is the vibe. Bed was comfortable. State St side was a bit noisy but we were warned! Loved the bath products and the kettle/coffee set up were a nice touch. Front desk staff was very helpful. "
"We selected the Sandpiper based on reviews, location to the airport & price. Check-in was easy and there was someone there to take our keys when we checked out at 3:30 am! The room was clean & comfortable. The mattress was comfortable. Appreciated the small round table with two chairs and the upholstered chair to relax. TV was easy to use. Liked being able to park right in front of our downstairs room to unload & load our suitcases. Felt safe. Is conveniently located to multiple restaurants (we ate at Harry’s Plaza Cafe) and a shopping mall with Chaucer’s Book Store and a grocery store. Three other perks are a pool, an elevator and included breakfast.
If we need another Santa Barbara hotel, we would definitely stay here again.

"I booked this location for a small get together with a few friends and we had a great time. The location is phenomenal and was really just what I had in mind. There's beach access close by, a little shopping center for any last minute needs and the rest of Santa Barbara is a quick car ride away. The unit was clean and was presented as described. The house is cozy and really utilizes all of the space. We felt like we had more than enough space for all 4 of us throughout our stay. The house is equipped with what you need to be comfortable: extra blankets, fans, plenty of utensils, etc and check in/check out is all very reasonable. The backyard is lovely, we spent most of our time in the home enjoying the backyard and hot tub We had a lovely time and I would absolutely book this home again. Thanks Lynn & Martin for having us!"
