We love that it’s located in our favorite part of State Street, so it’s super convenient to get to our favorite bars & restaurants! We are happy we found our new spot when we visit Santa Barbara!!"

"It is a spacious house and although it looks like newly painted, some areas needs cleaning and updating. Had a musty smell and back yard was not really usable, lots of wheelchairs and the table and chairs that were there were old and torn.VERY difficult finding the location. No numbers on side entrance or back gate where we should park. Wasn't able to get in touch with Lisa or property manager until much later in the day."

"This is a lovely reasonably priced motel just outside the city centre. The rooms are nice and staff helpful. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby so you don't have to go into the city for food. We loved it and recommend it highly "

"Check in was easy and fast. As soon as we got to the room we observed ants on the desk. We called the front desk and was immediately relocated to another room. Breakfast was excellent and all the rooms we came into contact with were clean. Staff was very accommodating and friendly."

"The stay was lovely and very easy. Check in was quick and there was ample parking in front of our room. The room was very clean and comfortable, with lots of towels and supplies which was convenient. AC and windows worked as well. "

"Absolutely loved this charming hotel! Located a few blocks from State Street, it was convenient to shopping and restaurants (a far walk to Stearns Wharf but doable). The staff was welcoming and friendly, offering happy hour complimentary white/red wine and cookies and milk later in the evening. In the morning, coffee and delicious scones/muffins and fruit are offered on the sun porch. The grounds are beautiful!! A lovely garden with different seating areas offers a quiet, relaxing space to sit with wine or coffee. The flowers smelled so fragrant which was an added bonus. I wish we were staying more than 1 night to enjoy the gardens more. The rooms are actually in outer “cottage” buildings. Our room had our own little patio with a bistro set. It felt very private. Our room/bathroom were small but comfortable and quaint. The only drawback was that the guests in the adjoining room were up at 6 am and we could hear them walking around, packing etc. Other than that, it was the perfect place to stay. Absolutely loved it! *There is also a new, upscale restaurant located on the property, separate owner. We did not try it."
