"A really charming and quirky house, perched on an overlook above a bend in the James river. Very friendly host, nice grounds, and plenty to explore in the surroundings. We did some outdoor grilling and a fire in the pit on a very starry night. The kids were disappointed that the hottub wasn't working that weekend, but there were plenty of games and some swings nearby to keep them occupied."

"My first word upon walking through the door was "Wow!" The wide open floor plan and expansive views seen through the enormous windows was breathtaking! The extra large deck overlooking the river made for a peaceful time to unplug and reconnect with friends. The entire house was spotlessly clean and beds were very comfortable. The host was very responsive. We will definitely return!"

"Such a lovely and cozy house. We were in town to visit our college student and this housed all of us perfectly! The kitchen is fully stocked making meal preparation easy. With 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, there was room for everybody. The beds were all comfortable and the reclining sofas & chair were relaxing after a day of hiking! Plenty of good movies on hand (or bring your own) plus enough channels available if you’re in the mood for some tv watching! Board games & cards are also on hand....
