"Was a little hesitant about staying here after reading reviews. But i have to say it was tremendous as it always has been in the past!! When we hot married in Lake Tahoe 39 years ago we stayed here, it was Caesars then. We have continued to return here and it never disappoints! The only complaint i would have is that there is NO room service!! Common!! We had an upgrade because of our Vip status, the room did not disappoint!! Beautiful view of the lake and mountains!!"

"I had a great Stay at the Golden nugget. Our room was great with a nice view of the lake. Bed was comfortable. The pool was open and my daughter enjoyed it with her boogie board. The casino had a great atmosphere I would not mind staying here again. "

"We did a tour to which we took a shuttle. The hotel kindly allowed us to leave our car in their parking lot until the shuttle returned us, even though we had already checked out."

"Had an absolutely amazing stay. Check in was quick and easy! We got a partial lake view and unfortunately got there a little later than we wanted so there wasn’t a lot of options left but the front desk rep went over our options and the pros and cons of each, including noise levels explaining about the DJ near the Tiki bar. We were given drink tokens for our welcome drink and s’mores kits right away. I was a little hesitant about staying here as I had read all the bad reviews and was pleasantly surprised when we walked in the room and it smelled fresh and was very clean including towels and sheets. Would have to say if planning on using the beach, get there early it does fill up, especially when there are events. It is on the pricier side but definitely worth it in my opinion. We will definitely be staying here again! "
