Otherwise, everything was great!"

"This place was cold because the thermostats don’t truly work so much but my room had a heater and that was fine. The place is big for multiple parties and the pool table is so tiny. It’s great for skiing because it’s so close to northstar. Liked the place a lot."

The only roll of paper towels was almost gone and there weren't extra trash bags. "My parents, dog and I had a great time at your cabin. It’s a very beautiful place to stay, lots of birds, squirells, chipmunks that my dog had fun barking at and chasing daily. The beds are pretty good and comfortable. The area itself is peaceful and the row of trees by the road just made it perfect for a morning walk. it’s a short distance to the lake and restaurants. The only caveat is that my dog met the mice on our first night. It didn’t bother or show itself again. Overall, it was good!"

"Very easy place to stay. Very little stress. Had most of what we needed to enjoy a few days of skiing. Excellent location. Kitchen could use some updating (old pots and pans), but not a dealbreaker. Just don’t plan on making any intricate meals as you’ll likely not have everything you need. One major bummer: the hot tub didn’t work. It got warm but not truly hot. This bummed us out. If we could be assured the hot tub is working (as in it gets hot!), we would absolutely stay here again."

"Beautiful Lakefront Escape for a Large Family Gathering. My family of 9 adults and 1 toddler stayed at House of the Stars over the holidays to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. The host was extremely accommodating, allowing us an early check-in so we could settle in before the celebrations began.
