"Great location that’s a little more peaceful area, away from the craziness of Shinjuku shopping district but just a short bus ride away or a nice walk! The restaurant is incredible. The bakery is amazing and our room had a great view of the cool Metropolitan government building and beautiful park."

"It was very good, for that price they had everything you actually need and even more, onetime razors(changed daily), cotton sticks, towels, exceptional cleaning, the only thing: please don’t give your black belt for the yukata. "This is a great place to recharge before the long flight back to US instead of sitting in the terminal for nearly a half day. Plus they will hold onto your luggage. The restaurant and bar are convenient with good food and drinks. The rooms are small but it has a bed and shower which is all I need to recharge. Wish they provided more coffee in the room and you could do something besides a full breakfast at the restaurant in the morning. However their is a cafe on the far side of the airport to purchase coffee and a pastry."

"We’ve stayed at the hotel previously overnight, which was fine. On this occasion, we stayed 4 days. Very few places to eat. As we had a late flight, close to midnight, I tried to get a late check out, to stay in the room. On different occasions I was told free until 2pm, second occasion 9000yen and the 3rd request 12000yen. When I requested an additional night I was told 359000 (which equates to $3000+ AUD). Another request brought it down to $300+ AUD. Perhaps something was lost in translation. The irony was that I could get the room from Expedia for $219. It was the inconsistency that I found frustrating. In the hotel’s defense, they store your luggage for free, which we did in the end, as our flight was close to 11pm at night. Cleaning staff were great, cleanliness was fabulous but I feel It’s more a hotel for transiting, as opposed to a base to explore Tokyo."

Getting around Akasaka

For a quick way to explore the city, catch a ride on metro transit at Akasaka-Mitsuke Station, Nagatacho Station, or Kojimachi Station. To venture out of town, take a train from Tokyo Yotsuya Station.
