"We booked here at the last minute because of a delayed flight causing us to miss HOU connection and arriving in SJO ten hours late. This property is very secure, and the restaurant meal we had was delicious (caught them just before closing). The restaurant and other staff we met were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived at night and left early in the morning so can't say much about the amenities as we were only onsight long enough to sleep and try to get back on our original itinerary."

"Excellent location and walking distance to everything in La fortuna. The use of the hot springs at Volcano lodge is very special and the Happy hour from 4 pm to 6 pm is excellent value 2 for 1 drink price.. breakfast and rooms are good and front desk staff are very helpful."

Can Uber to major attractions except for the Arenal Volcano national park where there’s spotty Wi-Fi. Just pre-arrange with your Uber driver to pick you up afterwards."

"Great location; very clean rooms and very well maintained and beautiful grounds; helpful staff; wonderful fresh breakfast choices and food quality; loved walking the on-site nature trail in the morning to spot the howler monkeys that announced the rising sun, and enjoyed the pool and hot tub at day’s end. Would definitely return, again!"
