"I enjoyed this place a lot! The personal was really respectful and friendly. The lady from the spa was sooo nice and lovely! Everyone is extremely nice and I am so happy I choosed this place to stay in! My only “complaint” would be May be the high prices in the restaurant for dinner. But you have sodas nerby! I loved the location of this place to! I would come back for suuuure !!!!! "

"The landscaping and privacy were great. The location of the hotel to the town was great. Rooms were very good would recommend luggage racks and smaller sink with more counter. Breakfast and the staff were wonderful. Would stay here again. "

"Great stay and amazing location but the room was not clean. Right when my friend and I walked into the room, we found an acrylic nail on the floor and hair in the shower. The towels had bleach stain on them and the mattress was really hard. Like rock solid. The property is gorgeous so we had no complaints about that and staff was very nice, especially at the restaurant. We also had a big bug problem in the room (understandable since we are in the jungle I get it) but it was really bad. There is a gap under the sliding door with squished bugs that were not cleaned. SO many bugs and we were freaking out killing them everynight before we went to bed."

"This property was a downer. Coming from the US at 1am in the morning in this dark house wasn't the first impression I had imagined. But I understand that it is a very small private property made into a hotel which it is not. It's more like a BnB. Room was small and bathroom was smaller. It's fine for one night at the rate you won't find anything else in town. Airport is pretty far from San Jose city, about an hour outside. This property was only 10 minutes from the airport so that was great."

"This place is perfect for a seasoned solo traveler. It’s very safe and the inkeeper is absolutely wonderful. I stayed here alone and ventured out to see other areas and left my belongings here and returned four days later. It’s close to the central Market and a quick cheap uber ride. I walked to the local restaurant with the best views of San Jose.. Is it pampering? No. It’s clean and simple. Breakfast cooked by the inkeeper makes it feel like home. I appreciated this property so much because it was quiet. I planned my activities in other places but it was nice to come back here and enjoy the hospitality of a local owner. I would stay here again.❤️"
