"Breakfast was fresh and delicious though the buffet was rather limited. The hotel is a beautiful old building and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 37, which along with room 36 is 4 flights up with no lift so not suitable for everyone. The staff did help us with our luggage. Additionally the ceilings in our room are such that the bathroom mirror was exceedingly low. You’ll have to bend over to see yourself and do the tasks for which you need a mirror. Finally the location is about 25-30 walk to the Royal Mile/castle area with several good restaurants about a 10 minute walk away. All in all a nice hotel but for the aforementioned reasons 4 stars is as far as I’ll go. "
