"Had a lovely 2 night stay at The Cimon recently. Julia and Jamie were great hosts and made me feel very welcome! The breakfast was lovely, coffee bags in the rooms are a nice touch and free parking too! A short walk down the hill to the seafront and the “English Riviera” with some great food options for dinner! Don’t forget you have to walk back up the hill after!!! Thanks again and I hope to see be able to stay again next year (this time with the family)."

"The room was cleaned and ready on our arrival. Mr Fry is very polite and helpful gentleman. He suggested a few sightseeing locations from his own experience. Well lit and good parking spaces. Shops are within 10-15 mins walk. Sea front is about same distance. We walked down to sea front but we struggled to climb the hill back. Sea front has a variety of restaurants and cafe."

"Great location, but some room for improvement Great location, just a stone’s throw from the main beach in Torquay. The flat had all the amenities we needed for cooking, which was a plus. Unfortunately, there were a few things that let the stay down. The dining table only seats two people, despite the flat accommodating four. This meant our children had to sit at the table while we ate standing at the kitchen counter. Although the toilet looked clean, there was a noticeable smell of urine. The sofa bed mattress has also definitely seen better days — you can feel every spring, making it quite uncomfortable to sleep on. Overall, the location was excellent, but the dining arrangements, smell in the bathroom and uncomfortable sofa bed could really do with some attention."
