"Room was lovely, spacious and clean. Large bathroom. Great sea view. Shame no breakfast option, but wasn't a major issue for us. Hot tub wasn't in use. Didn't use the Outdoor pool but did use the indoor pool which was nice, although the jacuzzi didn't seem to work very well. If we could get the same room then we'd happily stay again."

"Great accessible room with an amazing view across the bay, would defo book a room with a sea view in future. It was very clean and unmarked that it looked as though it had never been used. The staff were great, very polite and attentive, couldn't have asked for more. Breakfast was good with a great choice, if I was being picky some of the hot choices were cold"

"From arrival to departure, the hotel itself,staff,entertainment etc was all great. Everything was explained, or displayed for info etc. Great choice of food, and staff had knowledge of specific food/dietary requirements if needed.. Would thoroughly recommend to family and friends as a relaxing, enjoyable place to either stay ,or use as a base to explore the local area."

"Lovely room with a view of the harbour. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Great lift down to the harbour. Lots of restaurants to choose from. We had a great holiday. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly."

"Positives: Easy check in. Great food. Wonderful breakfast. Good service. Lovely staff. Great outdoor pool. Lots of parking. Bus stop a few yards from the front door so easy to reach Torquay, Paignton, Babbacombe etc. Walkable from Torquay Station. Negatives. Rooms are tired and need an overhaul. There were some problems with my room but I was moved very quickly. Furniture in the lounge also needs an upgrade. It does sit on the main road so traffic noise is constant in sea view rooms but the view is gorgeous. However, the attention to old fashioned detail is stunning hence my 3rd stay here. The dining room is gorgeous- chandeliers, proper linen, beautiful glassware."

"I enjoyed my stay and was made to feel very welcome. Warm and friendly hospitality and great communication. The onsite massage was a highlight and breakfast was very good. There were a number of families with young children staying during the school holiday long weekend. Overall, a lovely stay."

"What a wonderful stay we had and it was exactly as described, if not better. The property is wonderful, whilst Torquay and the surrounding areas is a lovely place to visit. This property is ideally located for lovely walks into Torquay centre and Cockington, which is a must. John and Karen were lovely hosts and we look forward to returning again, hopefully next year. Thank you both for sharing your beautiful accommodation with us. Fabulous !"
