"We had a quick overnight stay to break up a long journey and booked here so we could explore the area. In particular the Kelpies which according to Expedia is a short walk from the hotel. This isn’t true. It’s over an hour to walk and about 20 minutes in the car.
Lovely hotel, superb big bed which was very comfortable. Staff very nice and dining options were good. "

5/5 Excellent
"We loved where the hotel was located in Grass Market. The view of the castle from our room was absolutely amazing. Although there wasn't a lot of retail stores in the area, it was easy to hop on a bus or get an Uber. The restaurant selection in Grass Market was plentiful. And the staff was extremely accommodating . We will definitely stay there again."

"Great property, my only complaint is that there is no food options after 9 or 10 pm. We were a late arrival and while we could order food via Uber eats, the property would not let us eat it in the bar which was still open. Seems like a loss revenue opportunity for beverages. "
