“Excellent choice”

The hotel is situated at almost equidistance from the Rialto bridge and St Marks Square and therefore a great spot for sightseeing. Our room was spacious and had just the right mix of style and comfort. We were impressed with the quality of the food ordered via room service as well as the breakfast taken in the dining room. The staff were friendly and helpful.

“Great Location, Great Hotel!”

We had a fantastic 4 days at the Palace Bonvecchiati, the room was much larger than I expected for such a central location and being 2 mins walk from St. marks square was a real blessing especially for a short stroll around in the late evening when it was quiet. The prime location did make it more difficult to find reasonable places to eat near to home but a bit of forward planning and investigation of dorsoduro etc soon meant that we had some delicious meals. Hotel staff were charming and helpful, breakfast was ample and we had the good fortune to have an outside terrace to our room which was perfect for a quick relax before dinner.

“Fabulous Location”

We received an upgrade to a suite and it was great! Out of the front door, turn right and go to St Marks square in 3 minutes or go right and be at Rialto Bridge in 5 minutes. Great location and very modern and clean hotel. Would definitely stay here again!

“Loved it, Great Loation!”

Great location, 5 min walk to St. Marks Square and Rialto Bridge. Modern, relaxing, clean, comfortable! Very helpful English speaking front desk staff. Would definitely stay here again. Bed was a little hard but this seemed to be the norm for all the hotels we stayed at in Italy.

“Hotel is lovely”

After a stressful time travelling - this hotel is just what was required. As you enter you have the "wow" factor; decor is simply spot on if your like contemporay design. The beds are more than comfortable with cushions that are just devine! The TV lacked Englisg channels, but hey who watched tv when your away in Venice :-), breakfast was a little disappointing. The location is excellent close to everything, but away from the crownds. It has its own water boat entrance for that extra something special. Overall I would recommend this hotel all day long and if I go back to Venice, I will be staying there again.

“We'd go back in a heartbeat!”

Ok, where do I start? The very beginning...you really should consider spending a few extra Euros and take a watertaxi from the airport directly to the hotel. When I say direct, I mean the doorman opens the hotel door, gets your luggage from the boat and you step directly into the hotel lobby. Venice is like a maze. If you have no idea where your hotel is...give yourself at least 2 hours to find it! No joke. The place is amazing and once you figure out the criss crossing of the alleys, you will be fine. The hotel staff spoke English, was friendly, helpful in suggesting restaurants and my husband and I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the staff. Hotel is centrally located to great food, shopping and alternative transportation. Our one and only minor suggestion to the hotel would be to redesign the shower/tub combo. The wall is not long enough therefore the shower water spills out and onto the bathroom floor. Each time we took a shower we used 2 or 3 towels to mop up the water. Otherwise, the room is clean, ultra modern and very comfortable. We'd go back in a heartbeat. We loved Venezia! Hope you enjoy your stay, too. Of course, if you go during rainy season, all of the above statements may not ring true. We have friends who waded in water up to their knees to get to the airport...

“Simply the Best ...”

Everything about this hotel is perfect for a trip to Venice - nestled in the heart of Venice minutes from San Marco Square and walking distance to everything else. The accomodations and service are wonderful. It has all modern day amenities amid the old world ambience of Venice. After 2 visits I have no complaints.
