"Our stay at this house in Mauritius had both enjoyable aspects and some clear drawbacks. On the positive side, the pool is excellent and the overall interior design is very সনদর—tasteful and inviting. The outdoor area is great for relaxing, and the house has a nice aesthetic overall.However, there were some issues upon arrival. The house was not clean when we checked in. After we raised this, it was cleaned again promptly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, some of the furniture is quite worn, and the bed linen had a musty smell, which negatively affected the first impression.Another important point is the location. The listing is quite inaccurate, and you only receive the exact location shortly before arrival. The house is actually located outside the town, so having a car is absolutely necessary.A major downside is the noise at night. Motorbikes in particular are very loud and can be heard throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. We strongly recommend bringing earplugs.Overall, the house has potential thanks to its nice design and pool, but improvements are needed in terms of cleanliness, furniture condition, and transparency regarding the location."

"We recently stayed at Victoria Beachcomber as an Indian family with kids, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The property itself is amazing—massive, beautifully maintained, and set in a stunning location. The sunset views from the resort are simply breathtaking and were one of the highlights of our stay. We stayed in a ground-floor double room, which was very comfortable and offered lovely views with easy access to the beach, making it especially convenient for families. As vegetarians, we initially found the buffet options somewhat limited. However, Chef Iqbal went above and beyond to take special care of us throughout our stay. Every day, he lovingly prepared delicious Indian curries and fresh rotis, ensuring that we always had a satisfying meal. His hospitality and personal attention truly made a difference. The Kids Club was another standout feature. Our 8-year-old thoroughly enjoyed the games and activities organized by the team. The staff took excellent care of the children, keeping them engaged and entertained, which allowed the adults to relax and enjoy the resort. We also loved the complimentary water activities. The glass-bottom boat, paddle boat, and kayak were fantastic additions and added a lot of fun to our holiday. Every evening, the resort organized cultural dance performances showcasing local traditions and dance forms, followed by a DJ night. These events created a lively and enjoyable atmosphere and gave us a glimpse into the local"

What made the experience unforgettable was the people. Every single member of staff was so warm, kind, and attentive, always going above and beyond. The resort itself is stunning beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place to completely switch off. The daily activities were fabulous and added so much to the experience. Sculpture making and painting class were our favourites. We loved going to breakfast every morning, the menu is divine. What makes this place even more special to us is that we got engaged here. It could not have been a more perfect. Thank you Aditya for helping my partner to pull it off! Also thank you to Regini, Harsha, and Rachel - the sweetest housekeeping team ever. "I had a wonderful vacation in the Resort, and my overall experience was excellent. The resort is beautiful, relaxing, and very well maintained, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy Mauritius. I would like to give a special thank you to the housekeeping supervisor for his outstanding service. Late at night, around 12:00 a.m., when some food was accidentally spilled on the deck, he personally came to assist. He brought a mop and cleaned the area himself with great care and professionalism. This level of dedication, especially at such a late hour, truly reflects the high standards and genuine hospitality of the resort staff. Moments like this made my stay even more special. I truly appreciate the kindness and responsiveness of the team, and I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for excellent service and a memorable vacation in Mauritius."
