"We had a great time at White Oaks Villa, lovely pool area, spacious accommodation, lovely views on a very quiet part of the beach. The staff were always very friendly, polite and helpful. We would love to come back again. Anand, the resort manager was great, he made our stay even more enjoyable."

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison pourvue de toutes les commodités et sécurisée. De plus l'accueil d'Ikbal a été chaleureux avec des boissons fraiches et quelques pâtisseries du pays. Une aide nous a également été fournie pour organiser des sorties et des excursions. Une belle piscine permet de se baigner et de se reposer. Il est toutefois nécessaire de disposer d'un véhicule pour se rendre en ville."

"Terrible value for the exorbitant price. We paid premium prices for this property! Customer service is non-existent, no aircon in the living room, none of the fans work, they don’t change sheets and towels daily, they don’t respond to complaints and are very defensive to feedback. There is not even coffee, tea or milk in the kitchen, not even sugar, salt and pepper! Worst ever stay for the kind of money we paid. We regret staying in this place. Just do yourselves a favor and avoid this place...

"Value for money if you're on a budget. Positives are location with a private beach and kind of out of the crowded spots of Mauritius. Excellent staff and Mr. Shreeni the manager is an asset for their company. He manages his clients efficiently. Negatives are power cuts & related water problems are there, bit of a old villa and not a carpeted one for a 3 star status. "

"Absolutely beautiful villa, ideally located for exploring the island. There is a wonderful hotel within walking distance which serves fantastic Mauritian cuisine and a brilliant supermarket 4 minutes away by car. The property itself is delightful. Fully equipped (with everything you would need if travelling with kids). It is very secure and well cared for by the staff (special thanks to Mary, Jovani and Mary Noelle). On a couple occasions we discovered that there was someone in the garden...

"This was our 4th stay at this property it is very private and quiet it also has a very private pool. It's well equipped we would recommend it for large groups as it sleeps 12 people."

"Filthy place. Not half what is advertised. Dirt pool, dirty fridge. No free wifi no free cable tv, not even a bed sheet to cover during the night. 2 towels for 4, of which one scratched. Safety concerns with broken elec near the pool. Room not ready on arrival, breakfast not ready the next day (very basic) birds eating the pervious day leftovers in the restaurant kitchen, not clean either."

"An absolutely stunning place right on the ocean with your own private little beach and private pool. The host was absolutely lovely and did everything to ensure our stay was great. This accommodation was stunning. Truly did not want to leave. It was spacious and luxurious for our family of four and truly loved taking in our view every day. "Jennifer looked after us during our stay at Villa Banyan and was helpful & friendly and easy to reach. The villas are well maintained and located in a beautiful setting beside a pool and beach area. The view was spectacular every day despite the cyclone weather. We will definitely be returning to stay in the future - Merci pour tous! "

The Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa, Mauritius

"The most amazing hotel we have both stayed in. The views and location are incredible.. the ocean view rooms are stunning, spacious with large balconies. The food was amazing.. even the buffet was great. We ate at each restaurant once and loved every one. The staff are absolutely outstanding. The most respectful, helpful and friendly people.. nothing was too much effort for them. We had the privilege of dining at ocean vista one evening where we got engaged… the sommelier allowed my fiancé to open the champagne with a sabre and gave us the cork as a memento. The only slight negative we have… when we checked in they noticed it was my birthday while we were there and said they would decorate the room and asked what flavour cake we wanted… unfortunately neither of these things happened which we were disappointed with. Overall an incredible stay and we will 100% be back!"
