"I was a solo traveller visiting Mauritius for the first time. The resort was perfect, the beach is stunning, the water activities were great and there was just so many places to just relax on sun loungers around the resort and near the pool. What made my stay special was the excellent staff who were really welcoming and friendly, full of smiles and joy that brightened each day. The breakfast was great loads of choices and also a variety of places for dinner too. I would definitely recommend this hotel and return here on another trip in the future! Name check and thank you for some of the staff that made my stay special and personally ensured I was ok throughout the week - Michael haffner, Nirma, Riaa, Delores, Alisha, Uma prasad, Vishnav, Avishka, Anielle, Cassandra, Monisha, Elvis and Navin."

"the room i had was ground floor garden view, the gardens were nice sitting on patio having a beer was relax full, the room itself was bigger than usual had a tv but channels were very limited we actually never watched it after first time. bathroom was also big bath and shower few personal items ,storage for clothes was fine just shelves little hanging space, room was clean ,now it does need a bit of tlc, shower screen needs a good cleaning house keeping can take up to 5 o'clock to clean room sometimes forgot clean towels stairs to upstairs apartment are wooden can hear people coming and going, overall it passes for 3 star hotel room, just make sure if you don't like stairs ask for ground floor, the room they first gave us was on third floor no lift, they change us next day after we told them"

"Overall we had a lovely time at Le Cardinal. The reception, restaurant, Chef, gardening and cleaning staff were all amazing. The great service, food and ambience of the hotel was excellant. Beatiful veiws of the pool and the sea. "

Staff looked after us well, good facilities, very close to the beach, on site restaurant was lovely too and overall location was good if you wsnt to experience northern Mauritius. Had the odd flies/ants in the bathroom but thats expected of any hotel in a tropical island. "
