“Excellent location especially when arriving late”

Had majior problems with airlines, delayed departure of 10am till 4pm ment arrived at 11.30 pm instead of 5.30pm hotel so close showered & in bed by 12am excellent.

“Needs a bit of a makeover”

The location is great and we had great views of the airport from from our room. The hotel is in need of a revamp. Lots of things look old and tired. The staff were very friendly. We had the buffet breakfast and were disappointed with the selection of food.

“Nice comfy hotel”

We stayed here for one night on our way back from Seattle to Perth, the hotel was very conveniently located near the airport in Sydney, so that we could catch our flight back to Perth the following morning. The room was very cosy and very clean and the beds very comfortable, especially after a long flight from Seattle, it was lovely to climb into a lovely comfy bed with fresh crisp linen. We slept for about 10 hours......so no jet lag whatsover :-) We will definitely stay here again if the need arises.

“When you get a great rate, don't even consider the others!”

I was shocked at how good the expedia rate was for the Stamford at Sydney Airport - it was better than the Mercure and the Ibis! so I booked, and was not disappointed, lovely spot. I wasn't there for long (one night, and was out until 1:30, then left the hotel at 6am the next day, but the staff were great and the room in fantastic condition. I got ripped off on parking, but I think that was my fault - all day parking is $20, but you need to work out how to make it not cost the earth (my 4 hours parking cost $20, which I guess isn't bad that close to the airport) I immediately recommended this deal to my family, but as per usual you need to be picky about when you book to get a good deal happy travels!

“Disappointing”

My room wasnt booked although the booking email from Expedia was eventually found - had not been actioned. Good room service but food not good.

“Convenience ...at a price”

For 2 different overnight stays adjacent to the Sydney airport, for one night, we used Formule 1, and the other at the Stamford Court. There's about $100 difference in price, and both places met our expectations. If you NEED room service, if you NEED a fitness room, and if you NEED a large bathroom, then spend the extra bucks. But on the most critical criteria for us...cleanliness and quiet...the two hotels were the same.

It is clean and especially quite. You don't feel you are near the airport and airport view is great too.
