Our two levels of Executive Floors feature access to the Executive Lounge. The hotel's banquet and meeting rooms cater for events for ten guests to 1000. The hotel also features the refurbished (March 2011) Gallery Restaurant overlooking the Fitzroy Gardens; renowned for relaxed buffet and a la carte dining. The newly rejuvenated (March 2011) Park Lounge bar has been extended to enjoy floor to ceiling views of Fitzroy Gardens and boasts an extensive wine, beer, spirits and cocktail list, complemented by light snacks menu.

A new journey begins at our newly launched day spa called eforea. A new global concept by Hilton, and the first of its kind in Australia, it is located on level 2 of the hotel. eforea is the perfect reason to take some time out just for yourself and you will emerge brighter when you book a treatment from one of three signature journeys. “Impressed”

Could use softer beds, and toilets flush a little slow; but everyone at the hotel was amazing, and the service was fantastic!

“Good hotel, quiet location”

My husband and I stayed two nights in October. We liked the quiet location and the fact that there were a few good restaurants and cafes just a few blocks to the left. Also Bridge Rd is walking distance and the tram stops just outside. The MCG and Rod Laver are also a short walk. The hotel itself is a bit dated but the room was clean and comfortable. It's not 5 star by any means but if you like to stay somewhere not right in the city it's pretty good. Tip - there is a bus that leaves from the MCG to all the tourist spots for free every 30 minutes.

“Nice hotel, but a bit tired.”

This is quite a nice hotel, and very convenient if you're going to the MCG. The city centre is also within walking distance, and tram stops right in front. The hotel itself is a bit tired, and perhaps past its 5 star rating. The staff were friendly and helpful.

“Nice Hotel, great location and service”

Stayed here for a short business trip. Don the concierge was fantastic help, incredibly nice and very professional. Food was pricey. Location next to the MCG and the huge Fitzroy Gardens park right next door was great. We even walked to Federation Square and had a great time walking around the city from the hotel.

Area recommendations

Check out the free shuttle bus that takes you anywhere in the city. Cool way to get your bearings.

“Highly impressed.”

First time at Hilton and the Park and very happy with our stay. The front desk staff were attentive and polite. The hotel was busy due to the public holidays and King Tut Exhibition being held at Melbourne Museum yet were given two rooms next to each other at the 19th Floor with views of the Fitzroy Gardens. The hotel has good location, close enough but not right at the centre, quiet and nicely maintained. The shower is quite strong and the toiletries are adequately provided. We'll definitely stay at this hotel as the need arises and recommend it very highly.

“Returning Next Week”

This hotel has a very nice feel about it. The staff are all friendly and always have a happy smile. We were on the 10th Floor and the room was so quiet. We had ordered snacks for arrival one a cheese platter and one various dips and nibbles,two of us struggled to eat them as they were so big. Lovely fluffy towels and a great king bed-so comfy. Now comes breakfast-what a selection It would be a year or more since we have stayed at the hotel and they have improved the Gallery restaurant where you have breakfast. It seems bigger & brighter and the new carpet is amazing just the colours to get you started for a happy day. Staff now are pleasant and attend to all your needs and the coffee is great. Tram stop almost outside the hotel makes it easy to get around or taxis right outside the hotel entrance.

Area recommendations

The area where the Hilton on the Park is would be one of the nicest areas in Melbourne the park and gardens are really beautiful in any season. if you are interested in old houses that are kept in tip top condition a walk around the streets near the hotel will surprise you.

“Great for Sport and convenient to City”

We had a throughly enjoyable 9 nights at the Hilton on the Park. It is only 5 minutes walk to MCG and 10 minutes to City. The forced walking saved us using the Gym. I would stay here again and recommend it for it's convenience and luxury.

“Good hotel, but very very expensive internet”

The hotel is great. The only thing that is very annoying on any Hilton Hotels is the internet which is basically the most expensive internet connection on the planet.

“Not the first stay wont be the last”

Had a lovely stay there we usually stay if we are going to a concert or the MCG as it as within walking distance . Staff are very helpfuland friendly.
