“Outstanding Hotel minutes from the museum triangle”

I was extremely happy with the hotel and room. Everything was first class from the reception personnal to the modern room. Great location. Minutes from the three museums in Madrid's museum triangle. Five minutes to the subway. Only a 15 minute walk to the Plaza Mayor with it's many restaurants and bars. Also the walk is on a pedestrian only cobblestone stree that is also lined with restaurants and bars.

“Good area of the city”

Great location for getting around town, even though east of the centre everything was within walking distance, and good feeling in the area at any time of day or night. Hotel clean and looked to have been recently refurbished.

“Very good location”

even when we did not get the best room in the hotel, no windows, it was clean and had a very confortable king size bed....the maintenance was very good and the room had a very modern and convinient bath room. We were particularly happy with the location, right on the Paseo El Prado, near all the museums.... also near good restaurants and bars ...

“Excellent stay”

Loved the location of this hotel, which was across from the Prado. Easy to get to most sites, a comfortable walk to the Palace, Plaza Mayor, and other tourist haunts without the usual touristy kitsch nearby. Great place to get to Madrid nightlife--15-20 minute walk to La Latina area and 5 minute walk to Huertas but without any of the noise.

“Great for a city break and for visiting museums”

An excellent location if visiting Madrid for museums. The hotel room (business class) was on the small side but the comfortable super king size bed and fantastic shower more than compensated for this. The staffs were all pleasant and helpful. This is a small hotel which makes it more personal and less hectic. It is slightly off the main traffic street so its postion helped with the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We also found some wonderful tapas bars/restaurants nearby, coffee bar with good pastry, small grocery shop for fresh fruit and etc. It has everything one would need for a city break.
