“Depending what do you want”

i have stayed with my family in the hotel about 2 weeks, if you you live in the US and used to high quality hotels, this hotel is not for you, it is just a room to sleep, nothing more, nothing less, the location is great, anything else depending on what you want to accomplish, you can not spend any time in the room, very small, no view, the hotel has no lobby, so great location, everything is a walking distance,

Area recommendations

Madrid is a great city, you better know Spanish, other wise you will struggle, the tourist bus make good deal, make sure to walk at night in the old city, restaurants are very expensive, make sure to have Visa or Master card, no one accepts Amex

Small hotel, but convenient to Porta del Sol area. Staff decent to work with. Free coffee.

Area recommendations

Porta del sol for partying, eating and shopping. You must try the stuffed olives at the market near the cave bars....OMG....

“super”

The location of the hotel is super. It's near the plaza del Sol and plaza Major. Yet it's just outside the crowed area, so there is no night noise to keep you up. The hotel is clean, personell at the desk is so helpfull.

“very small rooms”

family rooms are so small. can not sleep at nights due to loud noises from close by clubs. No shower doors, water gets all over the bathroom.

“An interesting hotel”

The location is great. The staff was very friendly. The room was acceptable (3 1/2 to 4 star quality). The hydro-massage shower is a nice idea, but when I turned it on all the water from one of the jets went directly to the bathroom floor!

The Gran Via is fun, etc., but be sure you go the other way to the Palacio Real and the Catedral de la Almudena. Both are impressive and you can get some good views out over Madrid as well.

“Small hotel, well located, good stopover”

This hotel is part of the 'Hi-Tech Hoels' chain. Certainly is equipped with hi-tech including massage type showers, free internet with laptop supplied, modern fittings. Taxi from airport about 30 Euro, near theatres, easy access to underground rail. Small notel, rooms clean, bds comfortable. Avis car hire nearby. Pleny of nearby restaurants / eating places.

Good place to stay for a few nights business or leisure. Well located. Good family rooms 4 beds - 1 double, 2 singles.
