The hotel was nice and was in a good location, but probably a bit overpriced for what it was. Stayed in 2 different spa suits and neither could be used as a spa. The rooms were quirky and well presented.

There's been a lot of effort put in to designing this hotel and the job is done nicely. But some things just doesn't work. There's some kind of advanced shower with lots of buttons and shower heads, but no instructions and finally I only managed to get water out of the handheld shower head. There was a very nice mood light surrounding the bed, but nowhere to turn it off, and finally I had to pull the plugs out of the sockets to turn the lights off. The one electrical socket availible to charge my phone didn't work, so it was a good thing I needed to pull out plugs to turn the lights out. According to the hotels .com info there is supposed to be a jacuzzi and spa, but that doesn't seem to be the case. The jacuzzis are in certain rooms, and not available for everyone, perhaps there's a treatment room, but when I asked about the hotel amenities this wasn't something they told me about. Apart from all this my room was spacious enough even though I had opted for one of the small ones, everything was clean and nicely furbished with a modern look and feel.

Great staff and location - room not so great

Super nice staff, very friendly and helpful. And the location is perfect. But our room was smelly, and there was a machine next to it continuously making a lot of noise, so opening the windows to refresh the atmosphere was not an option. Also, we had booked a room for three guests but were informed that a supplement was required in order to install a third bed. Not a big deal, but not nice.

Disappointing

Clearly still having a lot of work done on improvements which was disappointing. The quality of the rooms, bathrooms was poor. Our toilet door consisted of an unpainted sheet of hardboard with a handle screwed onto it which you couldn't close anyway.

The hotel and my room were beautifully designed. A marvel for the eyes! There was even a bath in my room. However the TV did not work nor the projector. ( I had hoped to watch a movie). Shower could also have been cleaned a little more thoroughly (hair in one corner). The staff was generally nice but my room was not ready at 3 pm ā€”which is already a late check in ā€” and there was a bit of a wait. No big deal in the best of times ā€” but I was tired after an international trip. Room for improvement!

The bathrooms are so incredibly small my husband kept hitting his head against the wall in there-almost claustrophobic. The showers donā€™t have a place to set down the shampoo bottle. The carpet feels old but the bed is comfortable.
