“Happy Memories”

I have stayed here before and look forward to staying again. This Hotel has sentimental attachment to me but I would be happy to stay even if not. It is in a great location and is consisently good even though my stays have been years apart.

“Basic & cheap - good for a couple of nights break away”

Having read previous reviews (which weren't favourable) we were expecting basic accomodation & thats what we got. But it was cheap, so you can't expect luxury at the daily rates they charge. It was clean & comfortable, if a bit dated & battered. But we picked the hotel for its location & for a place to sleep at the end of a day spent on the fabulous beaches walking distance from the hotel. Can't comment on restaurant as didn't eat there, instead ate out & used the bbqs on the beach behind teh hotel!

“Greenmount Beach Hotel”

I took my 2 kids with me, and we all loved the buffet breakfast in the morning. Hotel very handy for the beach, bus stops to Gold Coast attractions and close to town for food etc.

“Perfect position”

I found the hotel was perfect for me as i travelled on my own, dont think it would suit a family as it is not self contained,it was in an excellent postion, handy to the airport, twin towns, tweed mall and coolangatta shops, the meals were awesome, especially the buffet breakfasts. The only thing i was really disapointed in was the spa pool was not hot enough and can hear people in next room talking and noisey, otherwise a good place to stay. Staff friendly and helpful..

“Catching up with family.”

Very good couple of days away at a reasonable cost for the time of year and locality.

“Border stop-over”

The bedding was extremely comfy and we all had a great nights sleep. The location is perfect for a beach loving family like ours, my son was up at 5am surfing Snapper Rocks which had perfect conditions (day after Quicksilver Pro) so he was happy and I got in a picturesque walk before the buffet brekky which filled us up to continue our trip south to Port Macquarie. This hotel was a great choice for a stop-over and the price, awesome.

“Need of renovation / facelift”

Hotel is very run down and old, i believe it would be more appealing after a face lift / upgrade. Great location, friendly staff. i would probably chose a more modern / new tohel next time. :)

“Not what I expected!”

I always imaged Greenmount Resort to be quite an upmarket resort. The TV had no remote, there was 2 movie channels but no guide to say what movies and what time they would be on, parking was extremely limited, the taps in the bathroom dripped. Overall it wasn't the nicest I've stayed in at Coolangatta. The breakfast included was probably our highlight.
