“Hotel Vasari”

We stayed here for our honeymoon for 8 nights. This hotel has the BEST location! Right across the street from the train station. It is also only a 5 minute walk to the San Lorenzo Market. The location was perfect because it was a 5-10 minute walk to EVERY tourist site in Florence. We took a day trip to Rome and Pisa and all we had to do was walk across the street to the train station. The continental breakfast was great! Espresso, pastries, meat, bread, cheese, fruit, cereal, yogurt, juice and water! The best hotel breakfast I've ever had! We went every morning! Huge towels and large room with great storage. The staff all spoke English and we very helpful! We loved Florence and if we come back, we will be staying here!

“best location for train!”

the front desk was courteous, the breakfast was grand, the shower had good pressure, the towels were huge, and the location was perfect for anyone traveling by train and lugging bags through town. would go back in a heartbeat!

we loved the fact that the hotel was pretty close to the station and just about everything that we could think of (market, sights to see, etc). what was a struggle though was dragging our luggages on the cobblestones-lined streets. but it doesn't matter because we're reviewing the hotel, not the streets. :) the hotel was neat. although, wifi is only available at the lobby. all in all, we had a really nice stay. breakfast was okay (bread, juices, water, etc) and the staff was very helpful.

“Florentine Room with a Bidet in the Shower”

The hotel was beautiful. The included continental breakfast was excellent, by European standards. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and spoke very good English. There was a bidet, and it was in our shower. If you like bidets, it's awesome. If you don't even know what that is, google it, it's amusing. ;-)

“Good choice”

Went on a whim and found this place, while in Rome, and we reserved and jumped on a train. Can't say how easy is to find the place from the train station and the staff is nice and helpful, recommended a nice restaurant close by, and gave me a clear explanation of the easy way to visit the right places and etc.

“Hotel Vasari exceeded expectations”

Disregarded negative reviews and were delighted we did so. Good location with access to all areas. Room provided good storage, safe, great ensuite, bed linen and lovely towels changed daily. Contintental breakfast and great coffe. Staff always pleasant and helpful providing directions to sites and great places to eat.

“Yes, we'll be back”

I'm so pleased that we chose Hotel Vasari for our 2 night stopover in Florence. We arrived by train and it didn't take us too long to find Hotel Vasari which was very conveniently situated near the station. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was served in a lovely room and the towels were the whitest and softest of any of the hotels we stayed in during our holiday. Florence is a lovely city and Hotel Vasari is convenient to most sights. I can highly recommend it.

“great hotel”

The hotel was great, they helped us arrange dinner reservations and museum tickets. The room was clean and there was a meeting room on the floor with sofas and plenty of room to hang out.

Great hotel...convenient location just steps away from the conference centre, and 10 minute walk to the centre of the city. Excellent service, great value for money. A little noisy if your room looks onto the street.

I was very satisfied with the Hotel. The people spoke english and were very helpful.
