“Exceptioonally good”

The hotel was extremely good and suited our needs with a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 of us to stay. The attached retstaurant was very good with attentive service and good food. The service could have been a little quicker, but it was worth waiting for and deleivered with a smile.

“First choice for Brisbane stays.”

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is centrally located - opposite the Central Railway Station - good for rail travel to/from the airport and suburbs - and within easy walking distance of the central city and South Bank. The apartment was clean, well furnished. and quiet. Unfortunately no view from our first floor location. The staff were helpful and efficient. First choice for us for future trips.

“Recommended for Brisbane”

This hotel is nice - much nicer than I expected. I stayed in a 2 bedroom studio with washer/drier. I highly recommend this - you can wash/dry your dirty clothes. This was about halfway through my two week trip so the washer worked out great. You have to pay for internet - but you also have to pay at every other hotel that's not cheap (free internet at the cheaper ones like Best Western, La Quinta, etc) There is an internet Cafe Across the street - if you have a room facing the road, you may be able to pick up a signal - it's cheaper than the hotel. The train station across Ann St also FREE internet (I'm pretty sure of this). The mall is a short 5-10 minute walk and a few blocks away - many souvenir shops and places to eat. If you are traveling from the US, get a Virgin Mobile SIM card for your unlocked GSM phone. 10 cents a minute and no connection fee to the US.

“Beautiful hotel and decently priced”

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It's a gorgeous old hotel that has been refurbished. The rooms were great, great kitchenette, even a washer/dryer in the bathroom. It was very central to everything, right across from the main train station but it was still very quiet. We easily walked everywhere from here. We had a great stay here and wouldn't hesitate going back to this hotel.

“Certainly stay there again”

Very convenient - right opposite Central station. Close to shopping. Staff very helpful and friendly. A great place for a woman travelling alone to stay.

“Right place and lovely hotel”

Good facilities, right in the heart of Brisbane. Although close to the train stationa and road we we not bothered by it at all. Fully air conditioned :the 1 room apartment also has cooking facilities and most importantly, a washer/dryer. Would recommend it and would go back! But make sure you book on line, even if asking to extend your stay ( internet cafe just down the road) as it can be abit expensive.

“This is an older, but gracious hotel.Large room very clean bathroom.Great location.”

This hotel was accross from Central railroad station. The food was cheaper than anywhere else we had been in Australia. The area was very attractive & safe. The hotel was older, but well kept up.Our stay was comfortable. We even made our own coffee which saved us a fortune. If we return,we would definitely stay there again. As mentioned above, the night mgr. helped us so much .

“Very Awesome Hotel”

Everything was clean and tidy. Bed was extremely comfortable and the housekeeping staff were awesome (I drink a lot of green tea, and they noticed and gave me extra sachets). Location was great, easy walking distance to Queen Street mall... staff were friendly. Only one complaint: I think there's a bar or pub across the street that played really loud music one night. I could hear the bass in my room... it wasn't too bad though as I was really tired and fell asleep easily. But if you're noise sensitive, request a room in the middle of the hotel or higher up (I was on the first floor).
