“Good location”
Have stayed here 20 odd years ago. The place is nice, but after staying at smaller hotels, the number of people at breakfast and aound the pool was a little over-whelming. Also we couldn't get a decent hot shower - the water was tepid at best. Generally the staff were good, but not as welcoming as other places we have stayed - especially at reception.
“Loveliness in Legian”
Hotel was great being right on the beach. Breakfast each morning we were seated at tables over looking the surf. The staff are lovely and very helpful. We had booked a deluxe garden bungalow, however on arrival were upgraded to one of the Deluxe Beach Bungalows. The room was spacious and light. The only let down was that the beds were two king singles pushed together to make a double. They were also made up as two single beds. This was a small price to pay for what was a great holiday. The spa/salon is quite basic however the massage service is one of the best we had while we were in bali.
“Will be back again”
This was our second stay at The Legian Beach Hotel. And like the first time we really enjoyed our stay. We choose to stay in a garden bungalow, which is surrounded by beautiful, well kept gardens. The staff are friendly and courteous, and always greet you with a smile. The hotel is situated close to the beach but the hotel also has two lovely swimming pools, and one with a swim on bar. We will choose this hotel again.
“First time to Bali and we will be back again”
Legian Beach Hotel was recommended to us by friends, who have been staying there for the last ten years. We had booked a garden bungalow and it was lovely, also our bungalow was situated in a quiet spot. The gardens were beautiful and well maintained. With the room we had an small outdoor area, where you could sit and enjoy the garden around you. The hotel consist of two beautiful pools and the beach is across the road. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and could not fault them. As this was our first time to Bali, I have no hesitation to stay again at Legian Beach.
“Legian beach hotel”
Had a great stay here. The room we booked was not available for the first 2 nights but we stayed in another room and were compensated with dinner vouchers. No problems. Very nice staff - got to know them and they got to know us - although spent alot of time booking around Bali and not in the hotel. Spoke to many other people staying at the hotel and everyone else was very happy with the hotel - even those staying at the 'hotel' part which I had read was not as nice..... Visit nearby Tapa Spa - girls are nice, air conditioning works well and they are cheap. No funny business. Very professional.
“Bring Sun Screen”
The hotel is an oasis in the crazy Legian-Kuta beach area. The beach and ocean water is unfortunately polluted with plastic bags. The food is great and staff is cheerful. Expedia gave us a great break in the cost!
