"Property is bare bones. Poorly put together. Glue oozing out of sink edges, emergency exit /fire escape had caution do not enter yellow tape across it. Bed only had a single sheet on it and when I called about a blanket they said they didn’t have any clean ones in the hotel. Air conditioning never changed temperature and would not turn off. Also was weird that they provided ear plugs in the rooms. Although any time anyone went in or out of a door, it sounded like our door was opening."

"Decent property. We didn't use the pool due to the rain but the front desk moved our room so we didn't get wet since our luggage didn't make it. Don't offer any amenities if your luggage doesn't make it. No extra tooth brushes, tooth paste or anything like that. They did hold our luggage when it arrived so that was helpful. The rooms were spacious but the bathrooms are awfully small! Definitely a downfall. But would stay again for the price!"

"I don't mind paying extra however, to make me pay $45 a day to valet park without being able to park literally anywhere else it's highway robbery no matter where you go. Also, I like the room but I had to call twice to get someone to come up and clean my room after the assigned housekeeper came unannounced into my room while I was half naked asking to clean our room I told her to come back it was 3:30 when she came I left around 4:30 came back around 11:00 p.m. that night and the room was still not cleaned I had to wait till the next day to call and have someone come and clean my room. Also, and this may not be the fault of the resort but with all the mulch and dirt on the beach we couldn't even go out into the water while other resorts clean their walkway to the beach our resort did not and it look tacky. The food was overpriced not an extensive menu we ordered buffalo wings they bring out naked chicken wings with buffalo sauce on the side not what we ordered. Was not a good time"

"This is a stunning hotel with magnificent beach views. In my view though, the room was overpriced. Besides having a great view it was large. But, there was not appropriate space to lay out luggage. The room surprisingly smelled stuffy/stale. The hotel was very clean, but the room itself felt like it would have benefited from a bit of extra time in that department. The shower, while large, felt dingy. Not sure if the tiles/grout need to be freshened or if it was unclean. The valet staff and bell-hop were excellent. The front desk staff upon check in was no particularly friendly. It felt like they were going through the motions waiting for their shift to end. Later that evening, the front desk staff were much more helpful! I did inquire about booking a beach cabana but was told I had to book that from pool/beach staff. As a disabled woman, that was not helpful. Navigating outside to find staff to book this in advance was particularly challenging, so I did not book anything. The breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful and breakful was wonderful! Eden Roc was wonderful to experience once, but I don't think it was so amazing to justify the high price that I paid."
