Èze is between Nice and Monaco on the Cote d’Azur in southern France. Get a flight to Nice Airport and take a connecting bus to Èze. Visit Italy with a 20-kilometre (12-mile) car journey east.
The village has hot summers and mild winters and is rarely very cold. Note the tropical vegetation, such as bananas and orange trees that are proof of the year-round warm weather. Èze is known as the “Eagle’s Nest” because of its position perched atop the hill.
