The Ship Harbor Inn has jaw-dropping views of the ferry landing with its gorgeous backdrop of islands amid the waters, a preview of the beauty of this beautiful cluster of islands called the San Juans. I was fortunate to be there during a period of ideal weather. I noted that this motel is clean and replete with benches and tables where you can sit to enjoy the views....

Our room was one of the smaller (the smallest?) at the inn, but perfectly adequate for two, and perfectly clean. We had fresh cookies waiting for us on the nightstand.
