"We just spent a wonderful week fishing off the dock and enjoying the local tulip festival, this cabin was exactly what we were hoping for. Upon arrival it was clean and well stocked, it is a spacious cabin that instantly felt like home with wonderful art on the walls and a truly sublime tiled shower. The deck was amazing, fitted with a hot tube for relaxing and a dock for fishing. We really could not have asked for a better cabin or hosts, we truly enjoyed our stay."

"Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!"

"The house was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Everything worked well except for the internet and the phone service. Couldnt get internet at all and phone service mostly didnt work and cut out. No one warned of this and we couldnt contact anyone by either phone or internet for help. We were attending an important family event and couldnt contact family. It was very frustrating. I would like a $100 refund"

"The view is amazing. Each day we saw seals swim by. There is a resident eagle who would sit out on the sand right outside the window. Our grandson watched him dive and get a fish. What a thrill. We found sea glass and enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets. Maria our host was attentive and very helpful. Definitely met all expectations."

We had thought it would be a little closer to the beach but the walk really wasn’t too bad. The road noise was a bit irritating when you hanging out outside but didn’t affect our sleep. No need to look for instructions on where things are or how to operate anything and meticulous attention to cleanliness and maintenance. "The property's best feature is the amazing view. The area is nice and the house had lots of books, lamps, kitchen supplies and things to make it comfortable. Vacasa is another story. Very difficult in their correspondence and an unusually early check out time of 10 am. When asking for check out at 11 am, I finally heard back and they offered 2 pm for an extra charge! Rip off. Never was connected to the hosts, just Vacasa reps."

"We haf a very wonderful and relaxing stay. The only upgrade i can mention. Is the bed is dated and should be upgraded to a pillowtop with no springs. It was uncomfortable and felt old and used. Other than that this is an amazing place and we look forward to seeing it again."

"This is just what my sister and I were looking for. It was quiet, clean and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying beauty of the outdoors. There are a few items that could be updated inside or repaired but it didn’t distract from our stay. The kitchen didn’t have any bowls to make a salad."

"Our key code did not work but the property manager showed up quickly and let us in. We then discovered a wall heater that was sparking and had melted wires so the property manager removed. I think all of the heaters need inspecting. The upstairs bathroom fan light was also out and needed cleaning. Overall we liked the house and there were plenty of bed options.
