Tean Island Scuba Diving Holidays

Pleasant staff and clean rooms. Although blinds in the room not very efficient as it feels anyone can see through when lights are on. Need a few more choices of food on half board basis. Need a few more sunbeds around the pool.

We had an amazing stay - the staff were incredibly lovely and did a thoughtful gesture for me and my partner, which made it feel extra special. Our room was spacious and spotless, and the views of the beach (from the outdoor restaurant area) were stunning - we really enjoyed relaxing and unwinding out there. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we've had, with a variety of fresh fruit, delicious desserts and meals made by the incredible chefs! We also enjoyed the location and being so close to the beach. We loved this hotel and can't wait to come back one day.

Absolutely gorgeous and a great stay. Pros: Newer, reserved clean beach, pool in room, spacious, quiet, safety, helpful staff Cons: Mainland access, very slow service at beach cafe (except Tony Da, he was awesome), housekeeping oversights We were upgraded upon arrival from ocean view villa to the horizon view and that’s got to be the best villa. Incredibly gorgeous view, very private shielded, stairs down to private sofa at dock, pretty sunlight near dusk. The pool is shallow (3.5 ft) and stayed perfectly clean. The room is large with great air conditioning and the big bed was very comfortable. We requested 2 beds far in advance of our stay and only upon arrival learned that 1 would be a metal cot. Unfortunately the metal cot was painful and smelled mildewy. We asked housekeeping to make up the sofa instead, but those sheets had a stain of something dark and sticky. The bathroom is very spacious with 2 closets and 2 sink spaces on either side. The shower was large but needed to be cleaned more thoroughly around the bottom edges as there was dark buildup . Please be aware that shower water gets unsafely hot. The island is hilly but they offer buggy rides (very easy to ask). Daytime there’s a small 4 person boat for the 2-3 min journey from the mainland, it can be dirty and on our last day our luggage got soaked. At night there’s a tall truck that’s much easier. There’s a busy beach club across the water (semi-walkable through low water). Breakfast is PHENOMENAL!!

It’s a very clean and spacious room, and the hotel is located a very convenient spot of Bophut beach and near to the Fishermen’s village entrance as well.

Overall was an amazing stay. Staff are friendly and the property is well kept. Our ocean view pool villa was just what we wanted. Only 2 things that drop the rating to 4 stars instead of 5 1) wait time to get some items from housekeeping took almost 1hr (just 2 beach towels) - other services like calling a buggy or room service was very prompt and speedy 2) there was a wedding but the notification did not mention anything about loud music from the restaurant. (Only mentioned loud noise from a firework show at 1030pm - which was fine as we expected it) It went on for about 3 hrs. We could here all the music and lyrics clearly from our villa. We understand it is a wedding and a happy occassion but was not expecting the music (if any) to be that loud. If we knew we would have made arrangements to go out to town that night. It did ruin our night and was very unpleasant. We also could barely hear the TV with the music playing. We were about 3 or 4 villa ls away from the Star restaurant where the wedding was held Front office staff was nice and offered an apology meal but it doesnt amount to the 1 night value we lost to enjoy our night and villa. Hopefully the next wedding wont effect the next guests Other than that..amaIng property, great views and nice staff
