The staff were very friendly. The only "complaint" we have was this- we checked in on a Thursday and the room was cleaned on Friday, but not again until Monday. We had to request coffee and towels several times.

This hotel and its staff are exceptional. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again. Upon arrival, the breakfast buffet is jaw-dropping. Everything from hot entries to fresh fruit and delicious pastries, the buffet is the best way to start the day. Every staff member was helpful, courteous and caring. Can't recommend Hotel Riu Plaza Toronto enough!

Ended up being more expensive than I thought
I was expecting $140/night and it became abut $250/night,
I'm wondering if I paid extra for the upgraded room that was assigned to me to give me the early check in I had requested. I was willing to pay$50 extra for the early check, but disappointed in the final cost of the room
